Here is a Florida Based Blues Band aptly named King Muddfish that is a crowd pleaser wherever they go. They dropped into Orlando for a weekend and I caught a couple sets at McWells, south of downtown. I was impressed how tight the band sounded, then I found out they had been together for a couple decades or so. King Muddfish played their own renditions of blues standards and a mix of their own stuff to boot. Lots of slide blues guitar, harp with good rhythms and vocals made for an enjoyable evening. Check them out if you are in the Sunshine state!
