This one's a keeper. I have followed and listened to George Thorogood for a good many years, since the 70's when he took Hank Williams song; Move It On Over and put himself on the map as a blues rocker. This latest effort from George & the Delaware Destroyers takes you to the streets of Chicago when Blues was king and he translates some classic songs very tastefully. George pays tribute in particular to Willie Dixon and his personal favorite Bo Didley. One of the very best renditions of Willie's Spoonful sets the tone of this recording. Tight musicianship throughout. Help Me is another stand out. The more I listen the better this set of songs sounded. Hats off to Mr. Thorogood on one of the best in years. I highly recommend 2120 Michigan Ave.
